The hosting organization of the event - the Association of Hungarian Doctoral Students and Young Researchers in Romania (RODOSZ) - has been organizing scientific and community-building activities for young doctoral students and young researchers living in Transylvania for over two decades.

With the Connect the Dots conference, we aim to continue the nearly 15-year-old tradition of RODOSZ.

The primary goal of the conference is to provide an opportunity for domestic, international, and Hungarian doctoral students and young researchers to present their scientific results. Furthermore, it aims to strengthen professional relationships between various scientific forums and organizations, as well as to establish new collaborations and enhance existing ones. Secondly, following the conference, we also intend to create a conference proceedings volume that offers a publication platform for the participants.
